Builder puts on rubber gloves...and seconds later he brutally murders client

A BUILDER who murdered a customer with a hammer after she complained about "chronic delays and workmanship" has been jailed for life.

Peter Norgrove, 43, must serve at least 15 years after striking Sharon Gordon on the head eight times.
Video footage from the 58-year-old victim's house show Norgrove pulling on red rubber gloves before entering via the back door.
Ms Gordon's screams were caught on a doorbell camera, then her killer was filmed taking a bag to his car.

Delays
After leaving his victim for dead, Norgrove a married father and recently qualified builder - picked up a child from school and led a Jehovah's Witness service.
Judge Michael Chambers KC told the defendant - who kept his head bowed during yesterday's hearing - it was a "brutal and savage" offence.
Wolverhampton Crown Court heard Norgrove had agreed to build an extension for Ms Gordon within two months and she paid him £29,000.
But the project overran by more than a year, although the reasons for this were not examined in court.
