BRITAIN WILL BAKE IN 36C HEAT
Daily Express
|June 28, 2025
BRITAIN is about to roast in 36C, as a "heat dome" turns parts of Europe even hotter.

An amber heat health alert has been put in place to cover what may be the hottest June day ever on Monday and the highest temperature in three years.
The Health Security Agency warning that lasts until 6pm Tuesday covers London, the East Midlands, the South East, South West and East of England.
Scorching
Parts of the North will also swelter in 30C-plus on Monday as Europe's heat maps have turned an alarming deep red.
Spain may soar to 47C this weekend while scorching temperatures in Italy have melted roads and wildfires tear through Greece.
A heat dome, where hot weather is trapped by a high-pressure system, is enveloping the continent as another hits eastern and central America. A Dutch tourist aged 34 died from heatstroke on Mallorca while three people including a child hit by a tree were killed as rain, hail and floods battered France and Germany.
If the UK temperature rises above 33.2C it be the hottest day of the year, beating last Saturday in Charlwood, Surrey.
Emma British tennis ace Raducanu made sure she avoided London's 28C peak yesterday by doing her pre-tournament practice on Wimbledon's courts before the heat became unbearable.
