Animals in tricky, and sticky, spots

RSPCA rescuers have revealed their 2025 highlights, including a fox trapped in a garden chair and a puffin blown 110 miles inland.

The fox had to be liberated after getting his paw stuck between the slats in Mottingham, South East London, in January.

In July the puffin, named Oona by her saviours, was found in a garden in Stoke Lacy, Herefordshire. She was nursed and returned to the Pembrokeshire coast.
