ANGE POSTECOGLOU raised expectation levels with his flying start at Tottenham.

But their shocking slump in form has burst the bubble of optimism and left Spurs fans wondering what on earth has gone wrong.

Spurs went five points clear at the top of the Premier League after winning at Crystal Palace October 27.

No team have won so many points at the start of a season and then failed to claim a Champions League place Step forward, Tottenham Hotspur.

They now look set to miss out on a spot in the top four after their 4-2 defeat by Liverpool on Sunday was the fourth in a row, the club's worst losing streak in 20 years.

Tottenham were the early-season pacesetters who took 26 points from their opening 10 matches when Angeball was fresh, exciting and different.

But the past 10 games have yielded just 13 points and raised questions about whether head coach Postecoglou is the right man after all.
