SAY trees...the smiling Princess of Wales looks energised by the great outdoors as she and Prince William chat to youngsters about their love of nature.

A fine day for the Kate outdoors

Showing her famous natural rapport with children, mum-of-three Kate, 43, crouched down to chat to toddlers in an early-years outdoor learning playgroup. It was the second day of the couple's visit to the Inner Hebrides, where they are known as Lord and Lady of the Isles.

imageKate and William, 42, were staying in a rented cottage after marking their 14th wedding anniversary on the Isle of Mull.

And yesterday they continued their minitour with a visit to the island's Ardura Community Forest where they joined the Ardura Acorns under-fives group exploring the woods. The royals arrived suitably dressed in jeans and sturdy footwear, with Kate in a green tweed jacket and William in a collared jumper.
