£900k for sea crush diver who lost a leg

A DEEP sea diver whose leg was amputated after he was crushed by a giant underwater hammer has been awarded more than £900,000 compensation.
Allan Peacock, 55, suffered serious injuries off the coast of India in 2011. A heavy pile - acting as a “hammer” to nail another into the seabed - unexpectedly moved, crushing his foot.
