DONALD Trump's campaign amassed more than £42million in the 24 hours after his criminal conviction, shattering records for Republicans.
Yesterday, donations continued to flood in as his conviction for falsifying business records over his hush money deal with porn star Stormy Daniels strengthened his political base.
The cash injection provided a much-needed boost for Trump, 77, helping him close what has been a substantial financial gap with rival President Joe Biden.
