£3.5m bid to save rare Tudor charm

A historic heart-shaped gold pendant linked to Henry VIII's first marriage to Katherine of Aragon is at the centre of a £3.5million fundraising bid to save it for the nation.
Decorated with both the Tudor rose and Katherine’s pomegranate symbol, the Tudor Heart bears the word “toisiors”, meaning “always” in old French.
