£189m to clean up our dirty waterway

A GREEN regulator will receive its largest budget to tackle our filthy waterways, the Environment Secretary said yesterday.
The Environment Agency will get more than £189million to fund more enforcement officers, improved equipment and the latest technology.
Steve Reed said: “The public are furious about sewage pollution in our rivers, lakes and seas.
