TRINITY Mid-Whitgiftian welcomed a strong Dulwich team to Lime Meadow Avenue this week and were looking to bounce back to winning ways after consecutive losses on the road.

With a couple of regulars missing, Mids were hoping for a strong performance across the board, and when skipper Sam Williams lost the toss it soon became the ideal opportunity to set the tone as the visitors decided to bat and make first use of what would turn out to be a tricky wicket.

Matt Winter and Ben Ives set about their task of making early inroads and with a drop off the fourth ball of the first over, the tone for the innings was set.
