Mum's present to the refuge that saved her

A COVENTRY mum has delivered a huge bag of presents to a domestic violence refuge that once helped her in her darkest hour.

Twelve years ago Krissie Edwards lived in Valley House, a domestic violence charity based in Bell Green.

That year, she and her son Luca were given Christmas presents a moment of light and normality after the terror of escaping a violent relationship.

Now back on her feet, the mum-of-two organised a collection for Valley House. And last week they delivered dozens of toys and gifts for the women and children living there.
