Coventry Telegraph
|October 01, 2025
THREE new schools are to be added to Coventry City Council’s School Streets Programme after the first five locations were deemed a success.
Holbrook Primary School in Foleshill, Limbrick Wood Primary School in Woodlands and Alder-moor Farm Primary School in Lower Stoke will be included from April next year where temporary pedestrian and cycle zones will be created during peak travel times at the start and end of the school day.
During these periods, motor vehicles will be banned unless they hold a valid permit or exemption. The programme was launched at Templars Primary School in Tile Hill in February 2023 with four more schools joining the programme 12 months ago - Southfields Primary School, Ravensdale Primary School, Stanton Bridge Primary School and Cardinal Wiseman Secondary School.
