Lampard hopes fantastic 4 are fine after trips

City head coach Frank Lampard

The Sky Blues went into the second international break of the campaign in top spot in the league table after an emphatic 5-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday that came hot on the heels of a 4-0 win at Millwall and 3-0 home victory over Birmingham City.

Confidence couldn’t be higher in the camp right now but the season is young and only nine games have been played. There’s still plenty of work to be done and a long way to go. Here we take a look at what's going on in and around the club in our weekly roundup of all things Sky Blues.

City have four players on international duty as Frank Lampard gears up for this weekend’s return to domestic fixtures against Blackburn Rovers at the CBS Arena.

The Sky Blues boss and his coaching staff will be back on the grass at Ryton building up to Saturday's game hoping that his internationals return in one piece, ready for the next block of six fixtures until the November break.
