CHILDREN are still off school and many families are soaking up the sun on beaches across Europe - but Christmas is coming.

A Midland shopper has shared his shock at finding mince pies on sale in a major supermarket chain.

The customer was doing his weekly big shop on Sunday, August 17 when he came across the sight in Morrisons in Solihull.

Pictures shared by the shopper showed piles of Christmas treat mince pies being sold in two varieties in the store.
