CITY BOSS COULDN'T BE HAPPIER AS OLD FOE ROBBIE WORKS WITH SKY BLUES TEEN
FRANK Lampard has hailed Robbie Savage for his handling and development of young Coventry City prospect Isaac Moore.
The two coaches/managers occasionally crossed swords during their playing days but Lampard couldn’t be happier with Savage's dedication and enthusiasm to work with the Sky Blues teenager catching the eye at Forest Green Rovers.
Moore, 19, joined the non-league outfit on a season-long loan in the summer where he’s made nine appearances to date, including making six starts in the league. But he was described as “brilliant” after scoring a “magnificent” solo goal in FGR’s midweek cup win over Wolves Under-21s.
Asked if he’s pleased to hear about the midfielder’s progress, Lampard told the Coventry Telegraph:
