Decisions in the defence are 'tough' to make

FRANK Lampard has explained his "tough" selection decision at the back and how he believes all four of his Coventry City centre-halves can play their part in the final 14 games of the season.

The Sky Blues returned to the top of the Championship after this week's 3-1 win over Middlesbrough and have an impressive goal difference of 30. But recent form at the back has been a cause for concern with 12 goals conceded in the seven league games prior to the clean sheet against Oxford just over a week ago.

Wavering individual form and suspension have meant Lampard has shuffled his pack a few times in recent weeks, trying different central defensive combinations as he searches for solidity and consistency at the heart of his back four.
