THERE were a number of man of the match contenders at the weekend as Coventry City continue to throw up little success stories all over the pitch.

It's fair to say that Frank Lampard and his coaching staff have a real connection with the players and have worked hard on improving each and every one of them over the last ten months.

Whether it’s Haji Wright's workrate off the ball and renewed confidence as a number nine, Jack Rudoni and Victor Torp’s midfield goal numbers or Ephron Mason-Clark flourishing into a top end Championship winger, there have been significant gains in virtually every part of the team.

The list goes on but one of a number singled out for special praise against Birmingham was Jay Dasilva who, to be fair, has been on an upward trajectory since the turn of the year.
