Shack fire leaves at least 15 homeless in Ramaphosa

What was meant to be a day of love quickly turned into tragedy for a group of Ramaphosa informal settlement residents on Valentine's Day, Saturday 14 February.
Some of the shack fire victims left stranded.

At least 20 were left homeless after 11 shacks caught alight.
The fire broke out after 21:00, its cause unknown.
Community leader Babalwa Siswana said although no injuries were reported the well-being of the shack-fire victims was a concern.
