Will not let BJP steal Bihar Assembly elections: Rahul

Exhorting the people of Bihar to remain cautious against BJP's attempt to steal their votes through the special intensive revision (SIR) process, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today thundered that the INDIA block will not let the Saffron brigade succeed in its mission in the upcoming assembly elections of the state.

He said the blocl will fight a decisive battle to protect the constitution and the rights of poor, dalits, tribals minorities.

Kicking off the opposition's "Voter Adhikar Yatra" from Sasaram in poll-bound Bihar in the presence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, his son and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, Congress national president Mallikarjun Khadge and several other prominent leaders of the INDIA block, Gandhi accused BJP of stealing the elections of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha in the entire country.

Holding a copy of the Indian Constitution, Gandhi said that the constitution has given the right to vote but the BJP was contemplating to steal it in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections as they did in Maharashtra in the name of Special Intensive Revision ( SIR) of electoral rolls, which he dubbed as their “latest conspiracy"
