Villagers Protest Over Incomplete Road Works in Inchencheruvupalli

Residents of Inchencheruvupalli village in Mulugu district staged a protest on the roadside demanding immediate completion of long-pending road construction work.

The village, located about 4 kilometers from the National Highway, has been left in a state of neglect, with villagers describing the situation as “akin to crossing the river Yamuna to reach home.”

According to locals, the contractor assigned to lay the road had merely cleared the path and dumped gravel before abandoning the project. For the past three months, no progress has been made, and residents allege that the roadwork was halted despite sanctioned funds being part of the package.
