UP fast-tracks $1 trillion goal under Yogi govt, KPI report shows progress

Uttar Pradesh is rapidly progressing towards its ambitious goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy and the latest Key Performance Indicators (KPI) report released by the Labour and Employment Department bears testimony to it.

The report serves as clear evidence that the state government is not only meeting its targets but is also consistently surpassing them across multiple sectors, officials on Tuesday said.
According to data from the financial year 2024-25, in KPI-1, related to Shramayukt Sangathan Uttar Pradesh, the target for factory registrations was 3,600, against which 3,644 factories were registered — an achievement of 101.22%. This reflects a steadily improving environment for industrial investment and job creation in the state.
