Sundar Pichai has said that artificial intelligence will dramatically transform how people create content, work and interact with technology, while making today's digital tools appear "primitive" within the next three years.

In an interview with tech creator Rowan Cheung following the annual Google I/O event, the Google CEO outlined the company's vision for AI-driven tools designed to support creators, personalise user experiences and enhance productivity across platforms.
Reflecting on the rapid pace of technological change, Sundar Pichai acknowledged that society is undergoing an unprecedented transition.
"We as humans aren't wired for this space of change. It's not easy to live through a period of massive change," he said, while expressing confidence that current AI systems would soon appear outdated because of the speed of innovation.
The Google chief highlighted the company's focus on ensuring AI enhances rather than replaces human creativity.
