Strict Action on Misinformation About Rayachoti Incident: Annamayya SP Warns

In a strong message to those spreading rumors, Annamayya District Superintendent of Police, V. Vidyasagar Naidu IPS, has warned that stringent legal action will be taken against individuals or groups who are sharing false information about the recent Rayachoti incident through social media or other platforms.

The SP noted that several unverified and misleading narratives are being circulated, which could potentially harm national security and create panic among the public. He clarified that such activities—be it creation, forwarding, or sharing of fake content—will be treated as serious criminal offenses, and action will be initiated under relevant laws.
