Ponguleti slams BRS for shedding 'crocodile tears' over farmers' issues

Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information, and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy came down strongly on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), accusing its leaders of shedding "crocodile tears" over farmers’ issues and called upon the people of Telangana to hold them accountable in the upcoming local body elections.

Speaking at the ‘Prajapalana Pragathibata’ meeting held at Somala Thanda in Mahabubabad mandal today, the Minister, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other state ministers and legislators, laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 100 crore. As part of the programme, beneficiaries were also handed over Indiramma Houses, symbolising the government's commitment to inclusive development.
