Nine juvenile arrested for rape of minor girl in Jaunpur

Nine juveniles, including four co-accused, have been arrested by the police for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl in Shahganj area of Jaunpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Tuesday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shailendra Kumar Singh said that in Shahganj Kot-wali area of the district, a minor girl was raped by five juveniles late on Monday night and four other boys assisted them. "The condition of the victim became serious due to the gang rape and she was admitted to a hospital,” he said.
