Promotes Health and Livelihoods through Traditional Alternatives to Plastic In a move promoting both public health and sustainable livelihoods, State Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and Women & Child Welfare, Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, inaugurated a traditional leaf plate (Addakula Plates) manufacturing unit at Motlagudem village in Govindaraopet Mandal on Friday.

The initiative, supported by Randstad Global Capability Centre, Sayodhya Home for Women in Need, and the Sammakka Saralamma Forest Tribal Cooperative Federation, aims to make eco-friendly, biodegradable plates available to devotees attending the upcoming Medaram Jatara, Asia's largest tribal festival.
