Mineral-rich Assam secures 14 MoUs signed during conclave organised by Assocham

The mineral-rich Assam received huge investment proposals as the state has secured 14 MoUs signed in the mining sector during the Advantage Assam Investment Summit here, which was organised by ASSOCHAM here today.

According to additional chief secretary of Assam, department of Home, Mines and Minerals Ajay Tewary said that at the 3rd edition of Minerals and Mining Conclave 2025 organised by ASSOCHAM, the state secured huge investment proposals with a as many as 14 MoUs were signed, all in the mining sector.
He said the state, being a mineral-rich with rare earths and critical minerals being found in the state and with peace returning after 30 years, the state would now work to concentrate to turn these potentials into reality.
