Hyderabad Gears Up for Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of electoral rolls across Telangana, including Hyderabad district, with an aim to ensure that voter lists are accurate, updated and free from errors ahead of future elections.

‘As part of the exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will undertake a house-to-house enumeration programme across Hyderabad district from June 25 to July 24, verifying voter details, distributing enumeration forms and facilitating the inclusion of eligible new voters.
