State Excise, Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao directed district collectors and SPs of the erstwhile Mahbubnagar to closely monitor urea supply and distribution during the ongoing agriculture season.
Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Mahbubnagar collectorate on Tuesday, attended by legislators, MLCs, district collectors, SPs, agriculture and cooperative officials, the minister warned that strict action will be taken against dealers involved in black marketing, creating artificial scarcity, selling fake seeds or charging higher rates.
