Nagarkurnool Member of Parliament and DISHA Committee Chairman Dr. Mallu Ravi stated that development in all sectors and coordination between public representatives and officials is essential to transform Nagarkurnool district into a model of progress and welfare. He emphasized that every central and state government scheme should be effectively implemented and reach its intended beneficiaries, especially the poor.

On Tuesday, Dr. Mallu Ravi chaired the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at the Collector's Conference Hall in the presence of District Collector Badavath Santosh, MLAs Dr. Rajesh Reddy and Dr. Vamsi Krishna, DFO Rohit Gopidi, Additional Collectors P. Amarender and Deva Sahayam, along with heads of various departments.

The meeting reviewed the progress of multiple departments including National Highways, SC Corporation, welfare loans, education, healthcare, rural water supply, agriculture, rural development, Panchayati Raj, child welfare, civil supplies, industries, and banking services.

MP Dr. Mallu Ravi's Remarks: Dr. Mallu Ravi stressed that government departments must work collectively and align with the goals and vision of both central and state governments. He stated that every department must deliver on targets to ensure Telangana remains a leader in nationwide development.

He emphasized the importance of timely monitoring of central government schemes, and advised officials to bring any challenges to his or local MLAs’ attention. He urged bankers to provide loans across all sectors as per the targets allocated to the district and ensure timely disbursement of all crop loan applications and other priority and non-priority sector loans.

He noted that employment generation through central and state-supported units would lead to economic development and instructed bank officials to meet their targets in a planned manner to support the district's growth. He particularly encouraged banks to provide loans to small traders, thus financially uplifting poor families in the district.
