Education key to compete globally: Deputy CM Bhatti

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Monday said that education alone can drive social change, eradicate backwardness, and enable India to compete with the world.

Speaking after inaugurating a coffee table book on the education sector brought out by a private company at Jubilee Hills, the Deputy CM said that society develops only through education, and the government is working with a vision for the next 50 years to strengthen the sector.
He noted that the country's rapid development was possible due to the strong foundations laid by leaders like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and successive Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers, who established premier institutions under IIIT, REC and UGC.
