Dr. Vishal Akula, Professor and Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Government Medical College, Jagtial, has been invited to speak at the prestigious British Indian Psychiatric Association (BIPA) Annual Conference 2025, scheduled to be held on 5th and 6th July 2025 at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Held under the theme “The Future of Mental Health: Innovation, Integration, and Impact,” the BIPA conference is a premier international event bringing together leading mental health professionals and academicians from across the globe.

Dr. Vishal Akula will present in a workshop titled “Emerging Trends in Addiction Psychiatry,” alongside eminent psychiatrists Dr. Kishan Porandla and Dr. M. Umashankar. The session will explore the latest advances, emerging clinical challenges, and evolving strategies in the diagnosis and management of addiction disorders.
