: A team from the Telangana Directorate of Medical Education (DME), led by Dr. Narender Kumar, Director of Medical Education, and Dr. Indira, Principal of Gandhi Medical College, paid a comprehensive visit to the Khammam Government Medical College on Thurs day, marking the institution's third anniversary. This on-ground inspection is part of a broader state-level initiative to improve standards across government medical colleges.

Unlike earlier online assessments conducted by the National Medical Council (NMC), the state is now focusing on direct evaluations, prompted by increasing public feedback and complaints regarding the functioning of these colleges.
