District Collector Launches “Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata” to Boost Enrolment in Government Schools

(Capital Information) Jayashankar Bhupalpally, June 04: Jayashankar Bhupalpally District Collector Rahul Sharma has instructed officials to implement the “Prof. Jayashankar Badi Bata” campaign from June 6 to 19, with the goal of increasing student enrolment in government schools.

During a review meeting with education, welfare, DRDO, Panchayati Raj, labor, municipal, and MEPMA departments at the IDOC office, the Collector emphasized coordinated efforts to raise awareness among rural and urban populations about the benefits of enrolling children in government schools. These benefits include free uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, and mid-day meals. There are 450 government schools in the district, but 34 have recorded no student enrolment this academic year.
