Cong blames Nitish Govt for rise in crimes against women, demands accountability

The Congress on Monday accused the NDA-led Bihar government for rise in crimes against women and demanded immediate accountability from the Nitish Kumar administration.
"Within just 15 days, numerous girls in Bihar have been subjected to horrific atrocities," alleged All India Mahila Congress president Alka Lamba, addressing accompanied a press conference alongside Uttarakhand Congress spokesperson she stated.
Lamba outlined a series of cases to highlight the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. "In Muzaffarpur, a class 5 girl was raped and murdered. In Chhapra, a student was abducted while returning from school, then gang-raped and killed. A minor was gang-raped in Sitamarhi, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was raped in West Champaran, and two more minors were raped in Munger and Araria," she stated.
