'Chalo LOC' from Kerala to Kashmir to begin on June 1

'Chalo LOC,' a dynamic youth movement that emerged in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, will begin its journey from Kalady, Adi Shankaracharya’s birthplace in Kerala, on June 1 to reach Sharda Temple in Teetwal near the Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir on June 12.

With a convoy of 100 Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycles, ‘Chalo LOC' plans to embark on a powerful protest ride under the slogan "Bullets Against Bullets" aiming to honour the terror victims and raise a call for justice and peace, Ride Captain of "Chalo LOC,’ R. Ramanand told UNI.

Commenting on the journey, Kerala BJP chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, "The symbolic ride of pride and resistance from Kalady to the Sharda temple is meant to pay tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack."

R. Ramanand, who is also Director of Abhinavagupta Institute of Advanced Studies, said: "The heinous act of terror is a stain on humanity, fuelling rage against the perpetrators whose targeting of defenceless visitors reveals a hatred that must be condemned and eradicated with unrelenting resolve."
