11th International Yoga Day celebrated in Sneha Society

The 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated in a grand manner at the Sneha Society for Rural Reconstruction Mentally Disabled School in Maruti Nagar, the center of Nizamabad district.

On this occasion, all the students, despite being mentally disabled, performed about 30 asanas on par with the able-bodied. The students were amazed to see the asanas being performed.

District Welfare Officer Rasool B, who was the chief guest at the event, said that yoga has been very important since ancient times. In ancient times, yoga and body parts worked in accordance with the movement to maintain a peaceful life. He said that at least medicines were used very little. He said that even those medicines were made from ancient Ayurvedic medicines made from plants and herbs and used to overcome any major disease and make people live for many years.
