THE Proteas Men and Women’s teams both close out a memorable 2025 with their final fixtures of the year on Friday.

Both teams have enjoyed unprecedented success over the past 12 months. The Men's team, under coach Shukri Conrad and captain Temba Bavuma, rose to phenomenal heights with the Test side, leading to the historic achievement at Lord’s when the Proteas won the World Test Championship final in June.
It was the Proteas’ first major ICC silverware in 27 years, bringing a close to decades of suffering for South African cricket fans.
