ORLANDO Pirates etched their name in South African football history by clinching the MTN8 title for the fourth consecutive time on Saturday.

The final, held at a packed Mbombela Stadium, saw Pirates defeat Stellenbosch FC on a night charged with anticipation and emotion. Their 3-0 victory margin was emphatic, with all the goals coming in extra time after regulation play ended goalless.
The match was a showcase of tactical prowess and individual brilliance. Despite dominating possession and creating numerous chances throughout regular time, Pirates struggled to break through Stellenbosch’s determined defence.
