AFTER closing a significant chapter on his acclaimed Mathematics tour, Ed Sheeran is back and ready to embrace a bold new phase in 2025 with his new release, Old Phone, and upcoming album, Play.
Known for his musical evolution, Sheeran’s new album, which is set for a September release, promises to explore uncharted territory by collaborating with global producers and musicians.
Reflecting on the album’s genesis, Sheeran shared:
“Play was an album that was made as a direct response to the darkest period of my life. Coming out of all of that, I just wanted to create joy and technicolour, and explore cultures in the countries I was touring.”
