Domingo roars into ‘Wicked: For Good’ as beloved Cowardly Lion

ACTOR Colman Domingo has joined the cast of Wicked: For Good, taking on the role of the Cowardly Lion in the upcoming sequel to 2024’s hit musical film Wicked.
The news was confirmed through a post shared by the movie's Instagram page, where the Oscar-nominated actor appeared surrounded by lion plush toys before signing off with the words, “See you in Oz”.
The announcement followed days of online speculation after director Jon M. Chu hinted that a major Hollywood star would voice the character.
Domingo joins a star-studded cast that includes Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, along with Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater and Bowen Yang.
