Adventurer Owain, 23, remains in coma after car crash

YOUNG MAN'S LIFE SAVED BY PASSER-BY AND SPECIALIST DOCTOR WHO LIVED NEARBY
A YOUNG man described by family as "truly beautiful" and an "adventurer" remains in a coma after a crash on a Gwynedd road earlier this month.
Owain Williams, 23, was involved a one-vehicle accident near Criccieth on May 8.
His life was saved by a passerby who stopped the bleeding from his neck, and then a specialist doctor who lives just down the road from the scene.
He was airlifted to Stoke major trauma unit and then transferred to critical care, where he remains in a coma. His condition remains in the balance.
His girlfriend Arianna was also in the car but escaped serious injury.
A fundraising effort was started to support Owain, who is from the Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porthmadog areas, and his family as well as raise money for the trauma unit and brain injury charities.
