Adani Enterprises net falls 50% in Q1

The group cited global trade uncertainties and lower index price realisations in its integrated resource management and commercial mining business.

The company's consolidated net sales fell 14 per cent to ₹21,961 crore, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, amortisation (Ebitda) dropped 12 per cent to ₹3,786 crore.

The total income of the company was ₹22,437 crore during the quarter, down 14 per cent Y-o-Y.

Despite the headline fall in profits, AEL emphasised the growing contribution of its infrastructure incubation businesses, which now accounts for 74 per cent of its consolidated Ebitda.
