Zoo's illuminated lantern wildlife trail a bright idea!

ATTRACTION TO RUN AFTER DARK THROUGHOUT THE WINTER SEASON

A ZOO will be transformed into an illuminated winter wonderland after dark with the launch of Lanterns of the Wild.

The new evening event at Twycross Zoo features giant immersive lanterns celebrating eight continents across the natural world, and includes the world’s first Gruffalo lanterns experience.

Spanning more than a mile in length and spread out across the zoo, visitors will be able to walk among the installations depicting ten wild habitats from November 14 to February 22.

With scenes throughout the journey inspired by lush tropical rainforests, icy tundras, deep oceans, and more, the event vividly brings wildlife scenes within touching distance in breathtaking detail. Along the route, visitors can enjoy festive treats and warming drinks.
