Textor may have Rams on his radar, while Pulis calls for patience

John Textor may add Derby County to the list of clubs he could potentially invest in after reportedly launching a £400m bid for Wolves.

The former owner of Crystal Palace is eager to add the Premier League strugglers to his multi-club portfolio, according to sports website The Athletic.

But they are not the only club who have piqued the American's interest, as the Rams join Charlton Athletic, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford on the list of Championship clubs rumoured to be on his radar.

Textor's bid for Wolves is understood to be a proposed initial payment of £150m, supplemented by a further £262.6m in shares, to purchase the club.

Textor, whose net worth is unclear, currently holds interests in Brazilian outfit Botafogo, French side Olympique Lyonnais and Belgian club RWDM Brussels.

Sources within Wolves maintain that the club is not up for sale but is instead seeking additional external investment, reports the Mirror.
