TEAM 'PROUD' OF SERVICE'S SUPPORT FOR VETERANS

WEST Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) says it is 'immensely proud' to be recognised as a top employer for armed forces personnel.
The service, which covers Staffordshire, has been awarded with a Gold Award for the prestigious Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
The scheme highlights organisations that go above and beyond to support veterans, reservists and cadet force adult volunteers in the workplace.
There are at least 170 reservists, veterans, cadet adult volunteers and military spouses in the WMAS.
The new award means WMAS will be reaccredited with its gold status for another five years.
