Student's 'surreal and inspiring' win in music competition

MUSICAL theatre student Harriet Kent hit the right note to win her category in the Burton Competitive Musical Festival.

Harriett, a student at Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC), was delighted to win her category.

She said: "I heard about the opportunity through the college when my lecturer suggested I should take part. I'm so glad I did because it really helped me with my confidence."
