These new glasses could be a game-changer for the hard of hearing

This week we look at another side to that accessibility work this time from a company called EssilorLuxottica.

You may never have heard of them but they are the parent company behind famous brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Persol, among others. But while we are talking eyewear here, we're not talking about helping the vision impaired in any other way than with their regular prescription lenses.

EssilorLuxottica has already teamed up with Meta to make the Ray-Ban smart specs, but its new work focuses on hearing meet the Nuance Audio hearing glasses.

Nuance Hearing is another EssilorLuxottica sub-brand, and it has launched two styles of glasses that have built-in boosters for your hearing. They look just like regular glasses, so no one will ever know.
