ROLLESTON have their first win of the Beechwood Mazda Premier Division season at the fifth attempt after a strong bowling display to defend a modest total away to Cutthorpe.
Their 194 all out was 15 runs too many for the often free-scoring home side.
Tight opening spells from Travis Muller and Manav Bapodra held Rolleston back after they chose to bat.
But Thaveesha Abhishek moved it along with 81 from 89 balls, with nine fours and three sixes.
With 28 from Gareth Marshall and 23 from Archie Griffiths, Rolleston were all out in the last over and had something to defend.
