BID TO BULLDOZE BUILDING NO LONGER 'FIT FOR PURPOSE' IN FAVOUR OF NEW UNIT ON SAME SITE
LEADERS at a Staffordshire school have submitted plans to replace a teaching building within its grounds.
Richard Wakefield C of E Primary School, in Tutbury, wants to demolish the current building as it is no longer 'fit for purpose'.
The new modular building will contain two reception classrooms, along with a student room and toilets.
The new building will be of similar size and scale to the one set to be demolished.
The previous building is said to have exceeded its lifespan and therefore needs to be replaced.
